Nutlink 10 Posted July 5, 2009 The demo has a built in benchmark, but the retail doesn't. It'd be nice if the demo benchmark was brought over to the retail version. I'd like to test the differences between some settings in a consistent environment.
Dangerdog 0 Posted July 5, 2009 http://hotfile.com/dl/7653522/8aca939/ArmA2_Demo_Benchmark.rar.%20html Go to your ArmA 2 install folder and create a folder @mods then inside that create one called AddOns, place the files in this archive in that AddOns folder. modify your desktop shortcut to include -mods=@mods run ArmA 2 and under Singleplayer -> Scenarios you'll see one called 'Benchmark' run it to test your graphic settings. You are running a 'lite' version of the main "chernarus" map through.
Gus 10 Posted July 9, 2009 Hi. I think that is an excellent idea. I think I followed your instructions to the letter, however it is not working for me. I created a folder in Arma 2 main, "@mods", within that folder "AddOns". I extracted the content of the zip folder into "AddOns". I added " -mods=@mods" to the target of my Arma 2 shotcut (it looks like this: "D:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2\arma2.exe" -nosplash -maxmem=2047 -mods=@mods). Any suggestions? Sergeant Poop 10 Posted July 10, 2009 (edited) Thank you. That worked. Could you clarifly, please. I did exactly what you said you did and it didn't work for me, either. What, exactly, about "... -mods=@mods" cleared it up for you? Thanks. Nevermind. I figured it out. Lol. *sings to self "one of these things is not like the others".....* Edited July 10, 2009 by Sergeant Poop
