thr0tt 12 Posted July 2, 2009 What other games do you own on steam ? And have you tried updating those with a retail patch instead of the steam auto patcher ? Use the search function as you have just screwed your game up. (Save u time, just verify local game files repairs aparently) The Steam version IS the latest like all us retail folk have. nuggetz 0 Posted July 2, 2009 This has been mentioned before and lots of people try upgraded to 1.02 not realizing that Steam is already running at that version. To fix, open Steam, right click on Arma in the My games list, and select properties -- click the local files tab and then select Verify Integrity of game cache and that should fix it. Dwarden 1126 Posted July 3, 2009 who and where told You to update Your game on STEAM with retail patch ? i mean how can you miss this warning ? http://www.arma2.com/support/updates/folder.html?lang=en STEAM version is newest already 1.02.58138 while with RETAIL is 1.02.58136 , there is no need to apply patch manually WARNING: DO NOT USE FOR STEAM DOWNLOAD VERSION!
