FraG_AU 10 Posted June 28, 2009 If you OC'ed to say 3.8+, It would make baby jesus cry if you pc dropped below 60fps. BUT this is arma2, so anything is possible. A lot of people including me are having less then stellar performance on high end rigs. Now I dont know if this is to do with a i7/SLI isssue or OS .. anyway you can see the countless threads about this. But yeah, I would be expecting 60 odd. I get 60fps in armoury (= low AI) and only 30-35 in game and lower in towns. On a 4.2i7 and GTX295 so go figure. So yeah for some the game runs perfect for others like a 2 legged dog
DarthBeavis 0 Posted June 28, 2009 What is your monitors native res? 1080p - I use a Mitsubishi 60" DLP as my monitor do I can take advantage of Nvidia 3d Stereo (though Amra2 is not supported yet) . . . can't wait to use 3d and TrackIR together with Arma) I am readying up on tips like changing the exe name and all . . . .thanks for the input
Bulldogs 10 Posted June 28, 2009 Well it's official.. I hate you, I'm gonna go cry in a corner now. You can run Arma 2 across 3 monitors if you want to go wild, then again, if you are trying to use TrackIR with 3 monitors you'd turn the characters head everything you tried to look at something on the left or right.
