dkraver 1 Posted March 11, 2002 Yes the earlier CG was also a nato weapon. Its really kinda the same weapon. Its just weights alot less. think the tube is made from some sort composite materielle where it before was all steel. Also on the newer version there are coating that will lower the thermal glow from it after it have been fired. Carried them both and would say weight differens is about 3 to 4 kilo
KingBeast 0 Posted March 11, 2002 I think wire guided Milan AT missiles would be nice.
second_draw 0 Posted March 11, 2002 So let me get this straight: Facts of russian CG: *insert facts here* Facts of old NATO CG: *insert facts here* Facts of newest "swedish" CG: *insert facts here* b.t.w. Could some insert the facts, i'm a bit lazy.
Blake 0 Posted March 11, 2002 Carl Gustav and AT-4 are totally wrong in OFP. Countless of threads have begged to change Carl Gustav to unguided launcher and AT-4 3d model into something more realistic. So far BIS has been deaf to these demands...I sure hope they fix them in 'Resistance'.

Russians don't use the Carl Gustaf, as far as I know, they have their own AT-4.
Aculaud 0 Posted March 12, 2002 Ok, so its confirmed. The carl gustav is a NATO weapon after all, and the Russians do have their own AT4 launcher, like the one they use in OFP (or at least similar to it). Gotcha!
Guest Scooby Posted March 12, 2002 Russian AT-4 is not similiar to one in OFP. Its on tripod or vehicle mounted.
Blake 0 Posted March 12, 2002 ...and Carl Gustav is not guided missile, it's like straight-firing anti-tank rocket/recoilless.
Major Fubar 0 Posted March 12, 2002 Iv'e always maintained that the NATO heavy man-portable AT weapon should be the M47 dragon. But what should the soviets have in place of the AT-4?
