Hi all I am loving arma 2 and now looking to do somthing with the editor. Can any 1 give me some help or is there some where I can get lots of step by Step help?? If anyone could help that would be great thanks

This might help even if it's for ArmA, alot of things are similar to it. Here

try and use the scenerios. look for the tamplate missions.

u can select a pre-made mission but edit the time of day, unit types and location of the units and objectives on the map.

it's not nearly as fun and useful as the real editor but u can start and experiment there.

Maybe also come join a new started mission editing group here on these boards. Very empty atm, but i created it so newcomers can start sharing ideas and knowledge between eachother. i will try my best adding links and also help with questions.
