wiper 0 Posted June 21, 2009 Does anyone else notice that and / or know how to solve it ? In v1.01 after the player died in SingleplayerMode it was possible to select any other playable unit. This was per default (no description.ext). Not anymore in 1.02 as it seems. Fiddled around a bit with respawn settings but to no avail. Is it a bug or do I miss something with settings or configs that are new in v1.02 ? Thanks
horror1 10 Posted June 22, 2009 yeah u are right i have the same problem since 1.02. its annoying when im testing a mission in editor and try to check things when one player gets killed. hope it get fixed
Tajin 349 Posted June 22, 2009 I could imagine that this wasn't meant to be possible by default. So its rather a fix than a new bug. Not sure. Anyhow try this: http://www.arma2.com/comref/full.html#addSwitchableUnitObject addSwitchableUnit person the command sounds like it should do the trick. manzilla 1 Posted June 22, 2009 If BIS did that on purpose then it's a giant mistake. You could do it in ArmA. No doubt it's a pain in the ass guys, I just noticed that it was gone. It seems silly they would remove this and replace it with having to add commands to units.
