HOPEnSPIRIT 10 Posted June 21, 2009 (edited) Can we have an Offical Dedicated server HOW TO and example cfg posted by a DEV? I have managed to boot the server by using the basis of a ArmA 1 setup, leaving out the mission. It runs and after I login I can start a mission in this case Warfare but after a few minutes crashes. The main reason for this suggestion is that so many Developer never give information of how to run the server properly when there the one with the most know how, it always up to the communities to trial and error stuff. update 18:50 GMT After a long time transfering to another computer as Windows 7 and Vista can't extract PBO's, I manage to extract the missions.pbo on a XP machine added MP_WarWelcome.utes to the mission lines in the cfg. Server now been running none stop for a hour on a 3GHz single core 67-100% CPU usage, thankfully it only touches 100% for the odd split second and probably caused by my remote connection monitoring it. Currently you have to upload the whole game to a dedicated server, add the registry details. Then patch it with the 1.02, then the Dedi patch.
