Green circles around fellow Marines?

Hey so I'm playing a scenario game and all the animals have white dots on them that I can see through walls. They glow white, and all my fellow marines grow green with like this green circle indicator... Is this just a feature of the game or am I experiencing a glitch because it kinda takes away from the realism of the game.

It's a visual aid for newbies. If you set the game difficulty to Recruit or higher, it should be gone. Alternatively you could edit your current difficulty setting, though I'm not sure what the option is called.

Check the visual aids settings in the difficulty menu.

Don't worry, 80% of multiplayer servers will have all the difficulty options set on "Easy" and it'll be a circle jamboree all over again!
