Cptkanito 10 Posted June 20, 2009 hi, Whenever i use an aircraft for a small period of time, the rudder decides to go far left rudder then far right rudder continuously whenever i am not applying a force to the rudder (Twist Rudder). When i do apply a little force to the rudder, it completely stops this. I have no idea what the problem is, but most likely its ARMA 2 not likeing my joystick as i did througher checks of my joystick calibration. Its a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro with a twist rudder control. It works perfectly fine is ARMA 1, just not ARMA 2. Thanks in advance for any help.
datter 0 Posted June 20, 2009 Is it possible you also have your rudder bound to your throttle by mistake? So when you are throttled up it's also applying rudder? I had this happen to me recently so make sure you don't have any conflicts in your bindings.
MehMan 0 Posted June 21, 2009 It's a bug indeed. What I see is that after reaching a speed over 500-550 if you happen to use the rudder the plane will then start screwing around with the rudder, turning it left to right all the time until you lose enough speed. Cptkanito 10 Posted June 27, 2009 I'm glad someone has noticed it to, thought ARMA 2 didn't like my joystick :S
Cptkanito 10 Posted July 3, 2009 I hope they fix it for the next patch tbh, its really driving me round the bend
TechnoTerrorist303 10 Posted July 3, 2009 aye it's pretty annoying, kills immersion too. If a real aircraft doing 700 kts started doing that it would fall apart or out of the sky pretty quick.
