garack666 10 Posted June 20, 2009 Hi, Testet with GTX275AMP! and Q6600@3.4 Ghz. Editor. One scene, Big Town or Forest. 28-30 Frames with All settings high, Post Processing off. Then Overclocked my card: GPU from 702 to 760. Shader from 1512 to 1600 and Memory from 1260 to 1360. Jumped in Game and got 28-30 Frames in the same scenes. No AI. So CPU is limting in Editor? MY 3.4 Ghz Quadcore ? Or what is limiting, the code? A Bug? ...

garack666 10 Posted June 20, 2009 When its intense to render more GPU Power should Help, but it doesnt!
-)rStrangelove 0 Posted June 20, 2009 AI scripts are loaded dynamically depending on how many AI units are active and what they do, so judging performance in an empty mission is just 1 side of the coin. You should compare fps with the same gfx settings and... a.) NO AI b.) 10 groups following patrols c.) 50 groups following patrols to get fairly reasonable results. My 2 cents. :)
garack666 10 Posted June 20, 2009 theres no AI active in editor, should i make a lan game? its the same..i wanna know whats the bottleneck of this game...when its not the gpu..btw have 4 gigs mem.
-)rStrangelove 0 Posted June 20, 2009 Just place x groups in the editor and give them waypoints. 3 "move" waypoints and 1 "cycle" as last one, so they loop. There are plenty of editor tutorials out, the tuts for ArmA1 can also still be used.
householddog 10 Posted June 20, 2009 Might be worhtwhile - underclocking your GPU as well. Just to confirm. Then, setting the gpu back to default, underclock your cpu.
