For some time I've been working on a campaign (mostly existing on notes on my writing desk), and after a brief summarization I've concluded I might use way too much modules and addons. I don't know how much of you are using 2-3 mods simultaneously, so I would like to ask somekind of "demand-survey" from you, how much of you would play a mission with many additions. My intention is to try to make as much variety into the missions as possible, but I realized I have to draw the borderline somewhere. For some time I've been using ACE and FFN together, later I attached Project 85 (because of the many vehicles and weapons) to the inventory, upon them I use at least a dozen diferent addons, so far the list is: -CWR island pack -BB mercenaries -BB civilians -GNT V-22 -PRACS UH-1N -LLW L16 mortar -Cameron McDonald's 1st ID -Plasman's Modern Nogova Army (woodland units too) -Red Cottage's and Zguba's BTR-80 -Lowfly's editor upgrade -Generic LCU -BLND's Humvee pack -Not to mention Queen's Gambit... There are at least another dozen addons that I've planned to put into, but I think I should lower the number instead of adding anymore. My question is how many of you would try missions if so many stuff is required for them? Do you think it worth the time spent on making stuff like this? wipman 1 Posted June 18, 2009 Hi, i wont play any army based mission or campaign, i've my dear Jonn's USMC units and i'll stick to 'em as long as this game lasts in my HD, in that list, there're some addons that require a powerfull PC that i don't have, so that's the main reason for me for don't play such thing; may worth the try if with the campaign you provide a DL for each addon and to the question of "it worth the time spent?" is you who must find the reply; did ya'd fun making it?, if the reply is yes, then it worth the time; if the reply is no... then ya've yar answer. My possition is that i do the things for my own enjoyment and i share 'em with the other players for if they find 'em enjoyable, good, funny or whatever. If i don't had fun with the Photoshop or something else.. then i wouldn't do it and i don't care what others think about the things i do; they're my own thing, if you don't like it... then you you know what i will tell you, that's my possition. Wld427 I hope someday you'll be able to see more of your addons in action in my campaign (right now I hope I'll be able to make a campaign worth the attention of the gamers).
