Ruckus 0 Posted June 5, 2009 Hi. I have a dual boot system that has Windows 7 64-bit and Windows XP 32 bit SP3 installed. I have Arma II installed on Windows 7. Is it possible to get Arma II to run on the XP boot without having to re-install Arma II? Like registry additions to Windows XP? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Start > Run > regedit > File > Export > Selected branch > put in: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Bohemia Interactive Studio\ArmA 2 The red part is for the 64 bit version only! Then go to XP and if: 1) Win7 is 64 bit and XP is 64 bit then just double-click 2) Win7 is 32 bit and XP is 64 bit then right-click, edit and add the red part 3) Win7 is 64 bit and XP is 32 bit then right-click, edit and remove the red part 4) Win7 is 32 bit and XP is 32 bit then just double-click Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

walker 0 Posted June 5, 2009 (edited) Hi all One thing you can do if you are multibooting is have have two installs of the same version of Windows, one for general use and one just for running ArmA. This insures nothing can interfere with your copy of ArmA. :) Also if your general OS ever goes down you have a backup.
