Taken from photos of the 9 May military parade today Moscow...

What kind of toys are these? Some nice pic of a jet flyby, too (SU-27?).

Thats a (brilliant) combination of the Russian Knights and The Swifts with Fulcrums and Flankers.

Most of these vehicles are redundant however. The SA-17 Grizzly (?) is made redundant by the Tunguska. The T-80s (?) are made redundant by the T-90 and T-72. There is no need for an RT-2PM in such a conflict, nor the Tu-95 or IL-78.

I suppose the self propelled artillery is made redundant by the BM-21. The only useful inclusions to Russia's set of vehicles now would be the Su-27, and the An-124 or An-12.

This would surely balance out Russia's capability naturally, without having to rely on a multirole fighter like the Fullback to do a fighter sweep. It would also give the Russians an airlift capability. Otherwise, BIS have done a pretty good job in vehicle selection.

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought it was another "Should we have children in war games" debate. I was sadly disappointed...

The 2S19 Msta-S (the artillery unit in the first picture) Has an interesting look about it, it would be nice to see more mobile artillery in Arma2 if the default work well enough.

When I saw the scud missiles i cried a bit inside.

Why, oh why are people allowed to have those weapons?

One button and thousands of people die.
