shining instruments at night

I added selection podsvit pristroju, and applied optics shine .rvmat on it. It all works except it always lights up, even when engine is off, and also this selection appears at night making the instruments dark, and unreadable.

Added section podsvit pristroju in model.cfg nothing changed...

The faces to glow at night with engine running are named;

podsvit pristroju

in the p3d model

These I think are transparent at day, hence if I remember correctly, these "podsvit pristroju" faces are a copy of of the normal "daytime dash" move just a little way forward (towards driver).

This includes copying the needles too.

BUT ... try it first without a second copy of face and dials/needles, this may have been unnessisary.

In the "podsvit pristroju" faces, material definition is;

ca\air\data\materialy\podsvit_pristroju.rvmat

In CFGModel, just add it to sections;

sections[] = { ........ "podsvit pristroju" .....};

.... should work
