WeilichderRöhrichbin 0 Posted February 5, 2009 Hi all. ArmA keeps crashing to the Desktop. I can play for ca. 10 - 20 mins before it happens. There is no error message and no icon at the bottom of the screen. Nevertheless, when pressing alt +del+ ctrl, ArmA.exe is shown as an active process taking some 200-300Mb of system memory...? I installed ArmA + Queens gambit and then patched the game from 1.08 to 1.14. My system info is found in my signature. any ideas? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
kklownboy 43 Posted February 6, 2009 try the beta, 1.15b, try new drivers... is the CTD in SP or MP or both... you say you have flashing textures? is it shimmer, or slow loading textures? OR did you mean,Flashing strobe like ... then set your Vsync to on. It will still strobe but will stop in a few seconds..... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

WeilichderRöhrichbin 0 Posted February 10, 2009 I installed the 1.15b patch and the latest catalyst drivers. The game still keeps crashing after 10 - 15 minutes or so. I now also see weird artifacts from time to time (they look like the graphics card is broken, this, however, is not the case). Any Ideas? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
kklownboy 43 Posted February 10, 2009 is this vannila ARMA, no addons? on the ARMA side , you can delete your arma.cfg On your Vidcard side , make sure its cooling, and set to "Application Settings" in game, set your settings to low, test ect... Then there is the system RAM, may need a lil voltage boost, and chipset drivers are new. A CTD every 10+ min is a issue you can fix, a CTD every so often. is a b****.
