M.Andersson(SWE) 4 Posted January 4, 2009 Im trying to replace all weapons, vehicles and units to house the ACE mod.. Problem is when i unpbo a EVO mission that IS ranked and replace the items it gets unranked. Is there a Document containing info about ALL ace vehicles, weapons, ammo and units names. Since i belive the only way to replace them is by changing the names inside the mission file itself. Also i have no idea what file in EVO that is handling the weapons and rankingsystem. UNN 0 Posted January 4, 2009 If it's any help to you or others, I will post an Evo mission we configured to work with the Cargo system. It is just a basic version; all the cargo is just dumped on the map from the start. But doing a search though the files for the RKSL tag, will show you what needs to be changed to get it working. Given the unique way Evo is designed, it's mainly things like DeleteVehicle and Crew commands, along with the usual class name changes.
M.Andersson(SWE) 4 Posted January 5, 2009 Its all the changes within the scripts thats confusing me. And finding the right scripts to change. Like i said i know what i want, but not how to do it. And u said it, EVO is in many ways unique. Like: In the Hangar in PA Airf. Theres a ammo/weaponsbox that isnt in the map in editor. I cant find it. So that must be scripted. And so on... UNN 0 Posted January 5, 2009 The Weapon boxes are positioned according to markers on the map. Small dots called ammob1..ammob2 e.t.c You have to zoom in to see them. But the ranking system in Evo means they have to be created locally using scripts. For each client with a potentialy diffferent rank, that’s handled by spawn.sqf.
