sic-disaster 311 Posted October 13, 2008 As of now, www.TangoDown.nl is a fact. Together with Nimsky and Zoog we created this website to create a harbor for Dutch people to play tactical and realistic games together. We will keep it updated with the latest news in the tactical gaming community, as well as provide different services. Think of those as co-op video's, articles on playing, articles on different games we support etcetera. The games that we support include the old Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, Hidden and Dangerous series, Swat 4, Armed Assault and various others. We have been waiting a long time for this day, and we are really excited about finally going live. Have a look and tell us what you think, any feedback is appreciated! And, if your Dutch and interested (Belgian is fine too ofcourse ), sign up and join us!
sic-disaster 311 Posted December 11, 2008 Just updated the website with a new article, in our TangoDown.nl Klassiekers (or Classics) section. This time around, we focus on Hidden and Dangerous, a game that came out a year later then the first Rainbow Six, and instead of CQC it focussed on more open, outdoor terrain. Some of you might be able to read it, some of you not, but the pics sure as hell are nice http://www.tangodown.nl/forum/showthread.php?tid=159 <- Read the article here. Ah, nostalgia. We have also got a TangoDown.nl Klassiekers article about the very first Rainbow Six game.

sic-disaster 311 Posted May 27, 2009 (edited) It's with a sense of pride that i can tell you that TangoDown.nl now has an interview online with one of the developers of ArmA2, Joris-Jan van 't Land. As a Dutch tactical gaming community it's great to see that one of us Dutchies is actually contributing to one of the best tactical games out there. We got an interview with Joris-Jan, and 4 exclusive screenshots to boot! Unfortunately the interview is in Dutch so not everybody is able to read it, but the screenshots do make up for it! A part of the questions we asked are about new mission editor features, campaign length and many others, like how it is to work for a Czech company as a Dutch person. Read the article here at TangoDown! http://www.tangodown.nl/forum/thread-398.html Edited May 27, 2009 by SiC-Disaster

sic-disaster 311 Posted October 14, 2009 (edited) A quick note: TangoDown has it's first birthday today! I'm glad to say we've gotten quite far in this time, the forum now has 140 registered users, and we have acquired two ArmA2 servers and our own TeamSpeak channel. Next to that we've launched two sister-sites: www.arma2.nl and www.heroesofstalingrad.nl to gather even more attention to our cause! Apart from those milestones we've also gathered quite a few articles, either flashbacks on great tactical shooters, general tactics tutorials, and something we are very proud of: an exclusive ArmA 2 interview and exclusive screenshots before it launched! Year one is gone, here's to many more Edit for mods: maybe this thread could be moved to the ArmA2 fanpages etc section of the forum?
