Binary 0 Posted August 11, 2008 Hello I'm wondering if anyone have experimented with creating a full ArmA 1.14 image? The idea is of course, that you wouldn't have to patch the game after installation. Anyone have any ideas on how this could be achieved? Cheers
Mr_Tea 0 Posted August 11, 2008 I work with two OS´s on one rig and have done similar without an problem. I installed ArmA and QG from the disks, after that i copied the files from the other installation (patched and with mod`s) over the new installation. When is first started ArmA on the "new" OS it was already fully patched, and worked perfect.
W0lle 1052 Posted August 11, 2008 That's how I deal with this problem too. When I have to reinstall Winblows I copy the whole ArmA folder to an external HD and after ArmA has been installed I just copy over the backup'd files, overwriting the existing ones. Binary 0 Posted August 12, 2008 This idea sounds really cool.. I allready have a backup/file server that automaticly backups my documents, pictures, ArmA profile and so on - I think I'll experiment quite a bit with this Thanks a lot guys
