Just purchased the game. Having issue at the menu.

I have a freshly installed Vista X64 on my PC and I have the ARMA gold edition from Atari and I am having this issue.

I have the very latest drivers.. if anyone can help I would appreciate it.

Same here, 1.12 didn't fix.

Vista 64, 6gb ram, ATI 3870, CAT 8.4.

The only fix I could find was to use msconfig to limit the memory to 3072.

MrN i have exactly the same config on my other rig

although i use the older catalist drivers cause the newer gave me creeps with photoshop (heck knows why)

didnt work upto 1.08 but 1.12 fixed it

run it over the beta exe biggrin_o.gif

Just tried it again to make sure I'm not going mad tounge2.gif

Limited to 3072mb windowed and full screen fine, version definitely 1.12.

Unlimited 6140, full screen black mess, windowed fine, version definitely 1.12. huh.gif

Never tried the windowed option before so at least that gives me AA without having to reboot. tounge2.gif

I had that problem when I was playing around with using AA / AF on my card combined with the in-game settings. I would change the settings and restart the game, and a couple times I got the same video error. I had to keep my card settings on 'application controlled'. What you are seeing is (I believe) a conflict between arma's graphics settings and your video card settings
