Multi Language Mod?

Recommended Posts

I think to make the game more realistic is changing the accent and speech language somehow for the SLA and RAC Side, since they all speak english and sahrani is a south american island i think they should speak somewhat spanish or a made up language. I dont know how to make a sound addon but this is a suggestion for sound mod makers out there maybe you can change the language the SLA and RAC forces are speaking when they use commands like " Injured, Under Fire etc" i think those would be main parts but it could be hard if you wanna change the voice :S. Not sure but this is a suggestion? Since it doesnt sound realistic that when you play as SLA or RAC they all have american accents and speak english lol . Not saying this should be made but just a suggestion. smile_o.gif

It's hardly impossible. In OFP the Red Hammer campaign brought about russian voices exclusively for the East side, while west retained their original English voices. So it's possible. The reason it's not in ArmA is probably two-pronged: 1) The Sahrani language is (according to Porter's blog) a unique language in itself, meaning using i.e. Spanish wouldn't be canonically correct and 2) an issue of resources and time (invent a new language and have people record it? crazy_o.gif )

I bet it'll be different for ArmA II wink_o.gif
