Cannot Join Games on Multiplayer

Ok, so I just downloaded armA: Combat Operations. I tried to go on multiplayer but every single of the hundreds of servers on the list appears as a red "x" and when I try to join them it says "Bad version, server rejected connection."

What version of ArmA you running?

I'm not sure...Do you mean what patch do I have? I haven't installed any. Is that the problem? Thank you for the reply.

Start ArmA, and look in the bottom corner of the game. It will say what version it is, probably v 1.06. You will have to update to 1.08 or to the beta 1.09, to beable to join any server.

Thanks, I had a feeling that was the case. Im in the process of downloading 1.08, but once it's saved to my desktop, how do I install it to the game?
