icebreakr 3157 Posted March 14, 2008 Operation Nelia Version 1.0 by IceBreakr[sBP] Story / Situation Slovenian SBP unit arrives to Island of Sarve. Island will declare its independence from the Tropico Union in next 24 hours. Bloody demonstrations are expected so Sarve president Collina and politicians ask for internation help in form of peacekeeping unit. Slovenian Army has been selected (1-18 men) and will try to calm down the protestors and disarm any rebels. Village of Heltermaa population consists of more than 90% people from Sahrani, Syr Darain and other Tropico Union countries. Big protests erupted today and turned into bloody clashes with the police. Local TV station reports that rebels set up barricades, several armed men were also spotted. It is believed that their barricades are here to stop the progress of our peacekeeping unit that is currently located at the only airport on NW of Sarve. Airport is still under the protection of police (blue hat officers) but people of Sarve need our help in the main town. Quick description 5 MP missions that will test your skill and nerves. All needed info for missions are present in Brieifing Notes at the start of each mission. Be sure to read it well as it contains many tips for your unit leader. Unit is split up into 3 teams (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie). Installation 1. Create folders \@nelia and \@nelia\addons\ in ArmA game folder. 2. Unpack all .pbo files from required addons to \@nelia\addons\ 3. Copy 5 mission files to your \MpMissions\ (MP) and \Missions (SP) in ArmA folder. 4. Start game with arma.exe mod=@nelia parameter 5. Host game, select island Sarve and pick "co18_Nelia1" to start MP campaign with your buddies. icebreakr 3157 Posted March 16, 2008 I'm glad you like it did you encounter any bugs? Did any more teams test it out in coop? If you have any AARs please let me know Tips: - for every killed civilian there might be new people spawning as rebels in main town because they hate your presence - use satchels and zoljas (AT) for convoy in 2nd mission, use charlie team as recon but leave choppers on ground or convoy might use whole terrain instead of roads. Pilots can take of when main town is in great danger, but beware of any AA rebel vehicles. - some missions have US forces aiding you with new air support vehicles if you don't finish the objective in ~20-40min time. - don't approach US base in 3rd mission because US guards have orders to shoot at any intruders. Besides heavy fog limits the usability of air units. - send in recon units in 4th and keep beacon trucks well protected at the back, you might find new fuel trucks on airport or any local gas station. - in final mission try to set up defense perimeter of FOB at first and launch counter attack when you think its safe. hoot 0 Posted March 19, 2008 The server's logfile says that not only 'Solus Extended Init Event Handlers' are required, but also that 'VFAI' requires 'Extended Event Handlers' (the handlers with the missing _INIT_ in their names), and those are missing. After adding them to the addon directory the server didn't gave any further negative reply and starts up without problems. Could be possible you simply have forgotten to list them as well? Tests have shown that even 1.08 servers, as far as we can say until now, can host your coop-pack and mission quite good, although you recommended 1.09b for well known reasons. icebreakr 3157 Posted March 22, 2008 It is quite possible. VFAI is great, because enemy uses crates and bodies to pick up weapons (ATs..., ammo...). It works on 1.08, but I recommend using 1.11beta because AI movement is improved considerably! Our team also uses FFN Replacement mod that enabled better CQB for AI and new moved (the ones BIS didn't use). Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
