texture problem.

Recommended Posts

Hi.

i played with visitor3 rc3 , since that, my game seem broken.

texturestrippepe1.th.jpg

X1900 512MB , catalyst 8.1/7.12 , XP32

settings normal : Vsync off, all app.

it's maybe related to PAAplugin i installed yesterday , i'm not sure.

edit: i'm not far from find a fix i think

shadow very high => http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/6342/shadowveryhighzj7.jpg

shadow low or normal => http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/1470/shadowlownx3.jpg

any idea ?

2 day ago, my game worked fine.

i NEVER HAD this shadow / texture problem.

i could maximize graph settings , get 5 frame per second, but a bug free picture.

now, i don't know what happened ... , you see . and it's sad because shadow "High" "very high" are a lot faster than low & normal with my ATI card. probably GPU accelerated , where low & normal are handle by cpu only .

no HD3870, HD3850, HD3450 are fine (i assume HD36xx then too) ...

but i think this problem is related to combination of AA (maybe check if you got forced AA in drivers and what type)
