Col. Faulkner 0 Posted January 31, 2008 I'm trying to build some new optical sights (ie new telescopic sight reticles) for my addon weapons and am having trouble getting it to work. Using the old Op. Flashpoint technique doesn't seem to work correctly in ArmA. Can anyone explain how it's now done, or perhaps point me to a tutorial or an unbinarized 3rd party ArmA addon so I can study how to do it? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
AtStWalker 0 Posted January 31, 2008 Ok. add 4 points on a new one p3d file (lod 1.00): X|Y|Z 1: 0.050|1.780|-0.675 2: -0.120|1.780|-0.675 3: 0.050|1.650|-0.675 4: -0.120|1.650|-0.675 Switch the main window to Back view, select the 4 points and join all'em using "F6" to have a new face. Then apply ur custom optic CA.paa texture to the plane face using the well know "A", -Load texture-, "B", "F4" trick.. and save ur new one optic on ur hard disk.
