(FPC) Bacon 0 Posted January 29, 2008 I 've started to put some intro music to the start of our CTF maps. But when i compress a 20 sec clip of music it is nearly 1MB. Does it make any dif to what type of file the original was as i've used Wav & MP3 so far and they all come up to nearly 1MB of sound in an OGG file.
celery 8 Posted January 29, 2008 Only the chosen compression matters. Programs that are suitable for compressing are oggMaker, Audacity and GoldWave. 64 kbps and 44 KHz stereo is usually a good one.
