Buildings - need help in configs

Hi all.

We seem to be having problems with custom buildings made for ArmA.

They all appear in game and etc. ,but...

The main issue is that animated doors, ladders, lights -> it all seems to work only if the building is placed in the ingame Editor -> if placed in VISITOR; none of the above works..

There is also trouble with getting the custom made ruins to appear ingame. Building gets destroyed and default ArmA pile of bricks appears

Finding solution to this would mean to get our hands on a good working .cfg for a building and knowing the list of all 'named properties' for arma addons.

All we know for know is that the properties are not the same as they were in OFP. At least they not appear to be as there is a new parameter 'Structure' (as we seen on BiS Watertower for example)

If anyone could be helpful with that it would be awesome smile_o.gif

I don't think your animations will work in visitor, at least I have never seen animations working there.

Model anims do work in Buldozer though, provided you have a proper model.cfg file sitting in the folder with the model.

For working in-game though.......

Make sure that the classname you give the model in the config begins with 'Land_', and the rest of the classname is the same as the model name.

For example, if the model is called 'public_toilets.p3d', the classname would then be 'Land_public_toilets'.

Then your animations and other special effects might work in-game.
