miles teg 1 Posted January 12, 2008 Ok.... I hit the left mouse button and no clip-board file appears in my main ArmA folder. Â What is the problem? Â Is it in some wierd folder somewhere??? Â Â I am using the beta patch for 1.09. Â Is that the problem? Â Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am well versed with cutscene making in OFP. Â But quite honestly mission making for ArmA is driving me to frustration. Â It is also the pinnacle of stupidity that BIS left out the in-editor cut-scene editor. Â Who the hell cares if a newbie makes a cutscene. Â That is better then no cutscene correct? Â That built-in editor saved me countless hours of scripting movie cut-scenes. Â When used well it could still be quite nice and as I said earlier, a MASSIVE time saver. Â To leve it out simply because it was "the mark of a newbie" is a highly elitest attitude that completely turns-off newbies from learning the basics of cutscene editing or even mission making. As it stands since I can't get the clipboard stuff to work, I may have to cancel all of the missions I've made for my mod in ArmA as I don't like releasing missions without cutscenes Anyhoo....if anyone knows how in the hell to get that stupid clipboard file to show up in my main ArmA directory, please let me know. Â Yes I read the WIKI entry so please don't forward me to that. Â Just please tell me where the clipboard.txt file is supposed to show up, and if it is supposed to be in the main ArmA directory, then why perhaps its now showing up when I click the left mouse button after running the camera.sqs script (which works fine in the editor). Â Thank you. Chris G. aka-Miles Teg<GD>
Heatseeker 0 Posted January 12, 2008 You will hate me for posting this Miles... Quote[/b] ] In Armed Assault the clipboard.txt file is created in your user\application data folder. Example: C:\Documents and Settings\WINDOWSUSERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\ArmA\clipboard.txt From http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/camera.sqs .
