jerry 0 Posted February 26, 2002 has this ever happend to anyone, where when you load up Operation Flashpoint your screen starts flashing colours. I can still see the game in the background and i have tried reloadin the game, but nothing. I think it could be i scratched the cd but i'm unsure. Anyone got any pointers. JAP 2 Posted February 26, 2002 When refresh rate is too high it should affect all of windows, so you should get it when the vga drivers load. Did you install new vga drivers lately, added a new card or changed something ? Is that problem in all of the games or only ofp ? Is T&L selected ? What vga card is it ? g007 0 Posted March 3, 2002 i have a a PIII 800, 256ram, ati rage mobility agp with the latest drivers, no via chipset. i have pretty much the same problem. start opf... the little logo bar comes up then the screen flickers several times. the first screen opens very distorted with flashing blocks of writing. the fade warning screen comes up with sections of letters missing and flashing. after this screen the game crashes and windows restarts. the same thing happens with all versions of the game through 1.45. what can i do? most other recent games work fine and my copy of flashpoint runs on my old desktop... though very poorly. please please please help me Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ALDEGA 0 Posted March 3, 2002 How much RAM has that ati rage mobility got? Is it 16 mb or more? Also, what resolution have you chosen in OFpreferences utility? Lowering it may help.
