A while back sumone posted like a console command that u could put sumwhere that controlled the fog distance in game.

I have a pretty good comp and i cant stand this fog at 200 metres bs.

Anyone know what i mean ?

It's not a Quake III-Engine i think smile.gif You might try OFP Preferences.

Nah nah sumone has posted it here ages ago.

It goes in the flashpoint.cfg.

So that you can snipe further by pushing the fog distance back.

Well conf files is different from *console cmds* after all. Referred to the commands.

Uh standard viewing distance is 600m, all the clipping fog does is obscure the clipping so it doesn't look like the world just ends at 600m.

Panzer, I think i know what your talking about

In the flashpoint.cfg try changing the benchmark result to 3500 or somthing just alot more than it already is should do you well.

The game thinks ur PC is a god, and i _think_ it will take away some of the fog distance. I read this from a OFP editing site, and it works, It only increases viewing distance about 200-400m or so though, better than nothing but.

Also, In mission editor, you can add this to your players INIT line

"setviewdistance 5000" (5km)

I cant recall the exact command, i think thats similar

it might actualy be this

this setviewdistance 5000

Does it need the "this" in the INIT?

Nope Unl33t, you were right the first time...
