vapor24 0 Posted November 27, 2007 This is the mission where you drive some troops to the airfield, defend it and eliminate the enemy there, then go to the beach to defend against the boat attack, then go down the road and defend against enemy armor. I've done all that, can't find any enemy personnel or vehicles that aren't dead and destroyed, but the mission goes on. The last item on the "things to accomplish" list is to clean out all enemy that have breached the defense line. I don't care to start the mission over until I know what I'm missing. Anyone have any ideas? I've driven and run over all the area between the beach, the roadblock and the airfield, and can't find anything else to kill. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
vapor24 0 Posted November 29, 2007 Apparently my description of the mission wasn't clear, or someone would have commented already. Since it's an early mission, I'm assuming that everyone who's asking about the later missions have already gone through it. Wolfrug 0 Posted November 29, 2007 I know the mission in question. Haven't played the campaign since the first playthrough in like version 1.0 or whatever and I think it ended okay then for me? It's not a very long mission, so I suggest you simply restart it: alternatively try running up and down the beach to make sure there aren't any lone ranger style SLA hiding in a bush somewhere (also make sure all their vehicles are really dead - i.e. trucks, UAZs, BMPs, whatever). vapor24 0 Posted November 29, 2007 "Ain't easy, is it?" Actually, the fighting part isn't all that hard, it's the inane things like this that are annoying. A vague, near-meaningless game objective, an undetermined AO (you have to guess where you're supposed to be looking for the glitchy AI who's holding up the mission ending), things like backing into a flagpole and having the vehicle code collide with the pole code to keep them together like super-super-glue, not being told what exactly is the problem with the mission. Those things are "hard" to put up with. I'm going to do the mission over because whoever wrote it must have been busy dl'ing porn at the time... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
