Die Alive 0 Posted February 25, 2002 I'm sad to see Family Guy go, it just wasn't getting the good ratings that, say, the Simpsons are getting because Family Guy was in a timeslot going up against Survivour and Friends, really no way to compete for viewers. It's as if the show was set up for failure. As for the Simpsons, they stopped being funny 5 years ago. The only good Simpsons were between 1993 to 1997. After that, they ran out of good ideas and stories. -=Die Alive=-

The two episode I liked was the one where they had some sort of nuclear accident/war, and they had to build new Quahhog. Another episode I saw with my roommate started with a drug transportation plane going down in bad weather, releasing those hallucogenic frogs all over.(copy of the 'breakfast club'. The story was ok, and that dialog btw 2 pilots were spanish, but dialog at the bottom was korean. thought someone who did the drawing in korea was nuts. But rest of the episodes I seen were just pathetic. it's just rude. I agree with you that ths Simpson's lost its touch. It's been 12(?) yrs since it came out, and writers constantly come and go, but recent episodes just lack what they used to be. the Simpsons used to have some twisted moral lesson, but these days, it's just trying to rely on short-term fun related to current events, not on society's values.
