teach 1 Posted December 10, 2001 While walking towards a town on foot at night, the lighted street lamp could be seen through the hillside.
Gamer 10 Posted December 10, 2001 It's been like that from the start.... needs to be addressed.
fixOPFsoundsplease 0 Posted December 10, 2001 You are wrong here, for you do not note the entire problem! It is all and any light source that is seen through objects and terrain. It most certainly is not a simply matter of lightposts.
hoz 0 Posted December 10, 2001 This bug has been there since the begining. I hope its fixed soon, it gets kinda of annoying. Hoz

Dynablue 1 Posted December 11, 2001 I hadn't noticed it as bad once I turned of HW T&L.
amos m 0 Posted December 11, 2001 I haven't seen the headlights doing this. I think what you're seeing is that the headlights light up like a big square at a time. I have definitely seen the light posts do this though. Makes it easy to find towns at night anyway.
Nozo 0 Posted December 12, 2001 and the helicopters and new tanks like m2a2, that can't be seen through windows ....
PlaneShifter 0 Posted December 13, 2001 I've always wondered what's up with the coronas around lights going through objects -- I have a VooDoo 5, and when I play, all coronas go through objects, except for the sun's. So it isn't some clipping problem, because the game engine CAN handle it. Very strange indeed. Unless they were able to have the sun's work properly through some sort of simplified clipping algorithm, I don't know. - PlaneShifter -
KillorLive 0 Posted December 13, 2001 It's not weird, it's uhh, purpose. Us supar NATO soldeeeres can uhh, see thru this? Russians with black berets and tassles also have the powar....or something.
Potatoman 0 Posted December 13, 2001 It's hard to get proper coronas due to the way visibility and transparency works. It's the same in HL anyway if you look.
