question about unlocks

ok so i look at the armory and see a huge list of items...some of them are available while the majority are locked. how do i unlock them? i finished the tutorial missions and the campaign, beaten all but 2 or 3 of the quick missions and used nearly all the weapons i could use in the mission editor. i also completed various challenges using the unlocked equipments and units in the armory. what else is there to do?

For every 200 points you get doing armory challenges you will unlock an item.

Trust me... I unlocked everything.

You can't use an item more than once to unlock something, unless you restart Arma.

Beat the campaign, to get all of them. I used the M113 in the armory to unlock tons of stuff.

yeah, contrary to what sosna said, you unlock an armory item when you earn a multiple of 200 points using an item/unit. i unlocked most stuff using the m113/m163... until they started sending jets against me in the challenges!

those missions are so repetitive. which one gives you the most points? is it the mobility course or the firing range or what?

btw the stuff you can unlock are they usable like in the missions and in hte mission editor?

most are. but some of the items like weapons you have to spawn in via a series of ammo crates that you can then take the weapons from. oh and the armory is completely unlocked when you finish the single player missions. i finished them already actually, but i didn't know you had to restart the game for it to take effect.

so you either complete whole campaing or just all the Sp missions?

no. just complete the sp missions.

press left shift + numpad "-" and type "getallgear". you have now all the items in armory.
