I have lost the joy of playing Arma..Even how low a adjust graphic settings, fps are super low. Real good slideshow.

Here's my pc:

Amd Athlon 3500+ 64x

MSI k9n platinum

1gig corsair 800mhz ddr2

nvidia geforce 7600gs top silent 512mhz

500gig samsung hd

i've heard that even lousier machines get more fps than i...

First 15 mins are ok but then it started swapping like hell.. i've wrote about this before, it's just, do i have to invest in new hardware or what? banghead.gif

Have you get the last patches?

1.08 seems worked with me...

Also: do you have Qg?

7600gs...:whi: Anyhoo, you can us the "Flush" command, seems to work for alot of my friends, with nvidia chipsets and cards. Also you need to play at 800/600 to be cool in the north island.

Yea i got the Queens Gambit, i jut dont wanna play like 800x600 resolution, it looks like hell, besides i have 19" widescreen monitor so the best resolution is 1440x900. How the flush command worked again? I better start digging my wallet for more ram...

Need more than 1 gig... whistle.gif

That's not true.

Texture detail on normal is fine with 1 gig in my experience.

That may be the truth, but you will see a big difference with 2GB of RAM.

Not that it should work that bad at all with that videocard, since i use the same card with much better performance.

The question is, what OS SpaceReverend used to play ArmA. huh.gif

The "Flush" command:

Hold "Shift" and press "-" on the numpad, than type "flush".

I think you need to press "Enter" after that.

well then you will need a much better videocard. The whole LCD instead of a CRT is coming back to bite us( i have a 1600/1200 21in). All the new games are very taxing. and your 7600 will not even play them at your current native res... i wish my old Sony Trni 21in crt didnt break... The flush command works, keep trying.

i get good performance with a 7600 geforce silent card.

Though i got 2 gigs of ram, maybe you need more ram?

lush is not working, tried 1.5 hours. Should it bring out some console where to write FLUSH? I've tried every goddamn key in my keyboard, not working.

I switched the aa off and it helped, when i swithced it back on, 5 minutes and swapping started again freezing all. All my other games like Bioshock, Bf2142 etc worked like a dream in full grapichs..why not arma?

just tried also arma mark, results were expected.

10fps and less..not much. First score was 1111,something and second score was much less 948,879

Lol - u sure u wanna press that Puma?

Press and hold the left shift key, while still holding it tap the numberpad minus (-) key then let go all buttons then spell out f l u s h on the keyboard.

The screen should freeze and 'please wait' appears in the corner then the screen lights up again.

I also used to get a similar issue with my 8800 card but the latest Nvida drivers solved it - are your Gcard drivers fully upto date?
