kubi 0 Posted August 30, 2007 I have seen a demo (lost the link) about a city generator script. It was building a city using a single type of house. It was growing like a tree, making very nice result. If anybody have a script like this, do not hesitate to share In map making the only thing I hate is the city building... Or any ideas to make island making easier are very welcome.
shaki 0 Posted August 30, 2007 Hi! There is my script - RandomObjectPlacer. It place objects in random position on selected area. You can choose intencivity of placement from 0 to 100%. Ideal for creating forests at that moment Download
Bracken 0 Posted August 30, 2007 Ohh ok, thank you Planck I did not realise.. Sorry about that.
Planck 1 Posted August 30, 2007 None of those object placement downloads by Kronsky have anything to do with Visitor, they are Mission Editor constructs. Planck

You are right, but the city placer script could be used in visitor too... I'll try to implement it on saturday/sunday... fasad 1 Posted August 30, 2007 I'll try to create a random vegetation clump placement script on the weekend. While it sucks that some features aren't in V3 PE (such as a random place object tool), the script engine more than makes up for it
kubi 0 Posted August 30, 2007 Yep, I think that this script interface is a very good idea. Random vegetation script is a good idea. I like very much those groups on Nogova, but is is very boring to place the groups one-by-one :/
