How To Retex unit

Could someone outline the steps so that I can do a simple reskin. This is what i want to do: Have a series of small pbo addon of the standard units (all basic infantry excluding the sf) which will only be changed to reflect the infantry division they're in, such as the third infantry division will have this patch on their arm:

I either want to have one pbo that has 54 divisions (thats the amount of divisions im doing) or 54 pbo's that each have a division.

Telling me how to do this would be fantastic help and im also wondering on a side note if somewhere in the pbo or game you can make it so that when you select BLUFOR or OPFOR then select what unit category, if you can make subcatagories (BLUFOR -> Inf Divs -> 3rd Inf Div -> Rifleman)

You are planning to do 54 divisions worth of re-skins?!

Good god man, the pbo size would run into the GB's to do that. One texture file for a rifleman for example is about 1.3mb on its own. 54 of them, plus 54 of all the other tpyes, machine gunner, sf etc...

Better thing to do is to wait for the tools so you can have it so the user can add the division badge by setobjecttexture. Dont think you can do it atm the moment though, not without the long awaited tools.

i may only do just 3rd 4th 7th 9th 11th 14th 17th 22nd. Besides im probobaly not gunna release it and i have a 500gb hard drive so no a difference to me biggrin_o.gif I just want to know. (I remebered another question...is it posible to make multi color map markers with something like a 200x200 or 100x100 resolution?)
