tjm397 0 Posted August 9, 2007 Microsoft have released a Vista Perfromance fix pack. see: http://www.extremetech.com/article....0000532 Fixes include some Vista Memory Management tweaks and a fix for 8800 users. I'm at work, but wondering if any of you guys have tried these yet and if they make Arma run any better on Vista?

Bergmania 0 Posted August 9, 2007 Same here.. Did butkus on performance for me.. Then again I now can install my printer that apparently me disabeling UAC bugged Vista so it was unable to map a network printer.. It fixes some real nasty things to though.. • When you synchronize an offline file to a server, the offline file is corrupted. • Poor memory management performance occurs. Ah well.. back to XPsp2
Bunkers 0 Posted August 13, 2007 I've read reports from beta testers on the upcoming Vista SP1 that it makes Vista "less likely to chrash in games" (roughly translated from norwegian web-page). Anyone got any more info on the promises of this highly anticipated Service Pack?
