i bought this game at gamestop today becuase the pictures on the box looked awsome.

but when i went into the game i cant find the jump button its usally space like in normal games like css but i cant find it i push EVERY SINGLE BOTTON on me keybord and i still cant find it its reely hard to paly a game when u cant even jump

You cant jump...yet... but this game doesnt really need jumping... when i feel like i want to jump i get out of my chair and JUMP, bounce...etc... but once the pro operation flashpoint animation makers and the tools come out, count jumping in.

There is no jumping in ArmA, and why is hard to play without jumping?

If you want bunny hopping to avoid getting hit, play CS or BF2.

btw. There is work in progress on an mod that will make it possible to jump, but there will be no bunny hopping in ArmA

Right click on the file you downloaded, click "Extract here" then right click on your arma shortcut and click properties then click find target, once the folder pops up put the mission pbo in your missions folder.

ArmA works without jumping, because it is designed to work without it.

So wait for the mod, that will allow to jump a little over obstacles, and play the game.

Did you put the pbo file in the missions folder? Do you have the latest version of winrar? if you do and did everything correctly then go to "play" on the menu of arma and go to missions and find it there.

Mods must be added to MP missions to work at all. Try not to cheat in ArmA, or you may be banned from the MP Servers.

In patch 1.1337 where they'll also add auto aim, health kits, allow you to fire accurately while running, show enemies locations with bright red dots, and finally get rid of that irksome recoil....

This reminds me of a review of the XBox OFP edition where the reviewer bemoaned the fact that the player character "...can only be shot 3 or 4 times before dying"

This isnt going to be "fixed" because its not a problem. Real soldiers dont bunny hop around to avoid enemy gunfire. Climbing over things perhaps could be a useful feature to implement, but general jumping is just asking for the unrealistic run and jump behavior that you get in CS.

i hate when my gun disapeers whenever i move nd i can never see the enemy when i get killed so i hope that patch comes out soon its at 1.08 rite now 1.337 isnt that far of

I`m afraid there is no hope for you, stay to CS and BF2.

When you run or sprint, with an rifle in you`re hands, you will not be able to hit anything.

ArmA is no arcade fps game, it`s an tactical "shooter" game.
