CoriolisForce 0 Posted August 3, 2007 Hi there. I don't think there is a way to do it, but I thought I'd check just in case. Can you set up two teams in a squad, and order each of  them to go into (for instance) a vee formation? TIA
fasad 1 Posted August 4, 2007 1 group = 1 formation. An FSM might allow you to create more advanced sub-group formation behaviour.
sailindawg 0 Posted August 4, 2007 @ OP, you sure can. But I have found that the useful formations are line, for max fire power or column, when getting toa waypoint as fast as possible. Delta is pretty good when taking over an area.
MehMan 0 Posted August 4, 2007 I think he means subgroups in your group. Like the colour coded teams.

sailindawg 0 Posted August 5, 2007 I was mistaken. The sub-groups will not go into any other formation. They seem to use a wedge formation. Quite honestly, the wedge maintains their fire power and support, so it's not that bad. However, the CEX mod seems to promise much better AI squad control. It looks like from the demo film, that you have full control over the AI squad, similar to the original Ghost Recon. I can't wait until this mod comes out in final form.
