Kenbow 0 Posted August 2, 2007 Link: Â Download HERE Any additional mirrors are welcome. Are you all about realism and tired of looking at those RACS units in MP or SP? Â Do you have other replacement packs for OPFOR and BLUFOR, but those default RACS soldiers still stand out? This replacement pack changes the default RACS (Independant Army) soldiers and landrovers to the United Nations Troops/Landrovers created by Plasman. Â This works in Single Player and Multi-Player. Â It is client side only, and visually changes the uniforms to the player with the addon. Â This addon is not required on the server you are playing to work. You also need Plasman's UN Soldiers Addon and Plasman's UN Landrover Addon (two seperate addons) to get this addon to work. Link: Â UN Soldiers & Landrovers by Plasman Here are some pics of the units (from Plasman's post): Link: Â PIC 1 PIC 2 PIC 3 The "UN_UNIT_REPLACE" PBO file replaces the default BIS RACS infantry units and the Landrovers to United Nations units. Installation: 1) Just add Plasman's two Addons (Soldiers and Landrovers) and this replacement pack addon to your Addons folder. OR 2) create a mod folder, place all files in folder, and then activate folder in target line of Arma.exe. ** OPTIONAL ONLY** Â I also reccomend using this UN unit replacement pack with the following addons for a true realism experience: Russian Federation Units v1 OPFOR Russian Federation Replacement Pack US 1st Infantry Divsion Soldiers with BLUFOR Replacement Pack ___ Credit: Â To Plasman for making these great units. Â Also, credit goes to Colonel SandersLite for his work on previous replacement packs. Â This replacement pack would not be possible were it not for him. Sand Flea 0 Posted August 2, 2007 I think it is more realistic to have the RACS there, personally. What it comes down to is real armies fighting fictional enemies on a fictional island in a fictional war, so to have that nation represented is probably more realistic. Splitting hairs. Each to his own.
