Sound probs not just with via

I have an intel board and I recently got a soundblaster live and guess what, noise in my rear speakers, and I hear footsteps, ppl standing up and lying down, heartbeats and heavy breathing and I'm not into porn.

When is this upgrade comin out. We all hope that this fixes probly the biggest problem of an otherwise koowul game.

That's a problem in the SoundBlaster drivers -- you should head over to

I have the latest drivers dude. When I bought my card I got no cd and had to down the drivers and liveware.

I have win98se. They don't give any unofficial drivers there for my os. Only links to creative.com and soundblaster.com

I'm sorry that didn't help you out, and unfortunately, I'm not aware of any other place where you could get more recent drivers.

The only thing you can do then is to turn off both EAX and hardware acceleration in the Audio Options screen. The built-in sound in OFP works fine and doesn't result in the loud footsteps etc.
