-Puma- 2 Posted July 5, 2007 go to bios and disable on-board audio. allso download newest openAL and souncard drivers. If that dont help maybe try it on in a different pci slot, and upgrade bios, if everything else fails.
Trapper 0 Posted July 5, 2007 Is the sound chip on your motherboard activated besides a plug-in sound card? Did you install the latest driver for your sound card? Did you chose the right ArmA settings for your sound card? (EAX, Hardware Acceleration)

SlurrpyChillyFries 0 Posted July 6, 2007 i would say you are at the threshold of your power requirements. i think if you upgraded your graphix card or bolted another card onto your mother board, this reboot problem will come back. i run both onboard sound and my x-fi at the same time with no problems (i know i know, but x-fi doesnt work in linux yet, and i spend too much time there). please check your power supply and the power draw of your system to see how much head room you have. today you should be running no less than 400 watts on a modern pc.
