Hi GIJOE94

Take it from me. Any of the tutorials for making OFP addons are just as relevant for making ArmA addons. The basic methodology for model making remains the same. Even BIS own O2 starter tutorials are just as relevant. The only thing that has changed, afaik, are the different animations and in-model selections. Texturing and config writing is much the same. Any other changes can be found on the BIS wiki. To call the existing OFP addon tutorials "junk" is an insult to all those people in the community that spent many hours putting together those tutorials for the benefit of others.

I would suggest trying out some of the tutorials that are already out there. You might be surprised at the results. biggrin_o.gif

Well Modelling and Configs are 2 different things in some ways.

No doubt the configs didnt work because they are OFP configs.

My Top 3 tips for making ArmA Addons

- Open other people addons and study their a) model and b) matching config

- Read the Biki on a) models and b) config bits

- Read ALL threads in these forums where models, definitions and configs are discussed.

.... there is no easy way to make working ArmA addons, even with a heap of tools.
