Why wont My helicopter shoot when I tell it to ?

Whenever I have rockets armed, more often than not, they wont fire. I hit the trigger and all I get is a voice going: "fire","cease fire","fire",cease fire". What the hell ? Lined up for a shot and they wont shoot. How do you make the chopper fire when you tell it to ?

Is it the gunner AI's fault ? How do you make him do as he's told ?

I assume you mean FFAR's, the AI won't launch these unless your target is directly in the crosshair.

If you select FFAR and point the crosshair at the target directly on top and hold it there as long as you can then he will engage, its only neccessary to tell him to hold fire once a target has been destroyed.

Although imo its better to use Manual Fire half the time as the AI is a bit slow ...
