Benthenoob 0 Posted June 25, 2007 After playing ArmA for a little while say 10 - 20 mins i start to notice red patches appearing on my screen, it appears on any objects and is really noticable, once it has appeared in the game, when the loading screen for ArmA appears you can see it on there, and it is also on the menu where you choose what you want to do e.g single player , multiplayer ..... I think i may have seen this red patches on my desktop aswell after quitting ArmA because of these patches ! I my self have no idea what they could be and have never experienced these on any other games or in any previous patches but it has only started occuring latley Specs: Celeron 2.80ghz CPU NVIDIA 7950 GT with 512mb memory 2 GB of RAM running at 1024 x 768 at 60hz All help is appreciated Thank You Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
maddogx 13 Posted June 25, 2007 Sounds to me like one or more of the following: - Hardware components overheating (most likely video card) - defective video card - old or somehow defective drivers Try installing the latest NVidia drivers and DirectX. If that doesn't help, run ArmA in a window and watch your video card and CPU temperatures while playing. If they are getting too hot, that's probably the problem - could be remedied by getting some case fans. Also (even if the video card isn't overheating) try underclocking it a bit using NVidia Coolbits. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Törni 0 Posted June 25, 2007 Similar stuff with 7900GeForce. This started to happen after 1.07 patch. I cannot play the game long (max about an hour or so) before all kinds of graphical anomalities start to happen. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
