169th_Ice 0 Posted June 25, 2007 Eversince 1.08 has been installed my Track IR 4 Twitches..alot. Works fine in other games but this is stopping me from wantoing toplay Armed Assault. Anyone else had this problem or know of a possible fix ? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
twisted 128 Posted June 25, 2007 Yes, this happens in 1.08. when i start Arma then trackIR is jerky especially when i push w or a or s or d keys. i solve it by alt+tab out then maximise the trackIR program (it was minimized to bottom right hand side on screen). when i alt-tab back it works perfectly and smoothly. maybe this could help you. chiahippo 0 Posted June 25, 2007 It only happened once to me all I did was paused the tracker IR then un-paused it. This can be set under the profiles under hotkeys in tracker IR. Vassago 0 Posted June 25, 2007 There are a few things that can fix it. - Make sure you ALWAYS start TrackIR before you load the game (and make sure it's tracking your clip/hat/dot while the exe boots up) - Increase the dot tracking size in the edit profile window - Decrease the amount of light filtering in the profile window (not TOO much though, or else it will make the problem worse. In any case, this is the TrackIR Profile I tweaked for ArmA. I use it as an exclusive load, so I use this one profile for every game I have. Guest Posted June 25, 2007 ye hotkeys rules ... works on win, ingame ... just try uninstall/install 4.1.0.30F tIR after you get Arma 1.08 installed on ur computer configure all settings on trackIR and be sure Arma profile (under profiles) is on "Combat flight" launch Arma load a map put a unit launch the game press F12 (to center) maybe try pause unpause it once with F9 (if he is still mad) ENJOY should work (worked for me) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
jdski 0 Posted June 25, 2007 I only get the twitch when I take a drag off of my ciggarette because it see's the glow and it thinks it's another dot. I did move my sensor camera farther back which helps overall with the motion. My dots were going out of bounds and causing irratic behaviour before I did this. walker 0 Posted June 25, 2007 Hi all You may want to change the default TrackIR keys so the do not interfere with Default ArmA keys. [F 8] [F 9] and [F12] are used in controlling your squad. Also make sure you do not have highly reflective surface or light source behind you as it can cause TrackIR to track this rather than you hat. NaturalPoint_Vincent 0 Posted June 25, 2007 You could try increasing the "Set Priority" for the TrackIR software, within the Task Manager -> Processes Tab -> Right click on the TrackIR.exe file -> Set Priority to AboveNormal....
