Cmd 12+ Tanks prblm/Cmd 24+ Soldier Prblm

Recommended Posts

When I try to command 12 or more tanks in my squad, the tanks don't follow formation. And when I tell them to ALL go somewhere, only the tank that 2 is commanding moves.

I can tell them all to move somewhere. But I have to tell them individually.

I never had this problem before.

Can you tell me what I did wrong?:

Download my 12 tank mission:

And when I command more than 12 soldiers, I can't tell the other soldiers what to do. All they do is follow me.

I can set their formation and status in the mission editor, but not during gameplay.

I never had this problem before, either.

I use the Join And Lead function to command more than 12 soldiers.

Do these two problems happen everyone, or is my FADE back?

I think I have FADE because ever since I installed some addons, I've been able to run through walls.

Running through walls is not fade, it's a bug that's been there since the beginning.

Maybe that you're commanding more units than is meant to be supported is your problem.

PS. If you got fade, you don't have a legit copy and I don't think ppl are gonna wanna help you, including me.

And if you were informed enough, Amos, you'd know that Unofficial Addons can trigger FADE.

When I say "Running through walls", I mean RUNNING through walls.

Not "Clipping through walls".

The mission I posted is only the 12 tank one.

To get more than 12 guys to follow you, use the Join And Lead function in the editor.

I would not advise you doing so. There are only 12 unit slots in the group. If you are able to use more, you are exploiting a bug in join that and you are effectivelly overunning unit buffer, therefore tt may easily lead to crash or other strange behaviour.
