buttockhat 0 Posted June 20, 2007 Hello, I haven't played OFP for quite a while and today, when I tried to launch it, it crashed to desktop after a few seconds and I received an error message which said something like: 'Create Vertex Buffer failed - out of memory?'. Can someone please tell me what I should do to fix this?

buttockhat 0 Posted June 20, 2007 I read in a post that this problem can be caused by changing OFP's graphics settings, and come to think of it, I'm quite sure that it may have been caused by just that. The last time I played (months ago), I vaguely remember setting them higher than they had ever been before... In that case, would be possible to edit the values in one of the game files to correct the problem? If so, how exactly can I do it?
wheres my rabbit ? 10 Posted June 21, 2007 you should have operation flashpoint preferences tool in your start menu.. open that and click auto detect you probably will have 2 "flashpoint preferences" is the one for resistance ...i think or you can edit flashpoint.cfg in your ofp folder if you know what your doing if you've put the terrian detail or view distance up too high you might have to go into your user folder which will be... ofpfolder/users/yourname open the userinfo.cfg in notepad and edit these lines.. <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE"> viewDistance=1019.949463; terrainGrid=12.500000;
