Having trouble updating old version

my friend has 1.02 german version and he's trying to update to 1.05, and it just won't allow it, any ideas?

I dunno but it might be that ArmA doesn't have the right patch for .103 or lower or something on their site. I found a patch that goes from 1.0 to 1.04 or something to patch to 1.05 and it was about 400+mb and the others that ArmA had were about 200+mb i think

So come back when you get the error message from your friend or let him post by himself. Without information, how can we help your friend?

Anyway, If it's on Vista, try right clicking the patch and choosing "Run as Administrator"

I had this message when I was patching.

Does he have sickboy's english language patch for german/czech version?

He needs to restore the files (I believe automaticly created) for it to patch.. that is of course that he used the english patcher.
