bargate, trafficlightpole, ai&throwing

Howdy all

I was wondering are bargate and trafficlightpole static objects or can you set parameters to them, like close the gate, it's now open by default, or change the color of light in pole...?

Another thing i tried to get Ai soldier to throw something but obviously i screwed something up and didnt get it work... i found this from biki, soldier fire ["throw","SmokeShell","SmokeShell"] for ofp, does it work in arma? Thanks in advance!

Bargates built into the map are static, and cannot be opened/closed. Bargates placed via the editor can be opened and closed.

On about the 9th post down (in the above ofpec forum link), I uploaded a test mission showing a bargate in action.

And I also have been looking for a script/addon for the AI to throw objects at the Soldiers. (small rocks, cans.etc..)

Yes.

For your other question.

This might not the true, but I've heard as rumor(i.e. I've read it somewhere) saying that you can use the "close" thingy on obj as long as you know the object ID.

Same "should" go for the traffic-lights,
